Hello.
If you know me, you know what happened. If not, let me fill you in.
A few months ago, I got home, my MacBook Air was laying in my chair, I go to pick it up, it slips away and lands side-first directly on a metal desk leg. I hear a loud bang and when I open the lid, the screen is utterly fucked.
After looking up the prices online, I conclude that trying to replace the screen isn't worth the hassle. I then hook it up to a monitor, copy all my important data off, then factory reset it to be sold -
- Or at least I thought I copied off all the important data. Turns out, I completely forgot the source code to my static site generator, and I didn't back it up.
I was left with no choice but to try to either reconstruct it or start anew. I chose the latter.
The original site was written in Hugo. I enjoyed my time with it, but got tired of how indirect it was.
This new site is completely raw HTML and CSS. We'll see if I like it this way, or how long I last doing it like this. Welcome back, or welcome for the first time. I swear there will be content of substance again eventually.
