ok ok. since my case and mobo arrived, i finally rebuilt my pc. and since i have a mac now, i’ve offload most creative tasks to it. that means there was nothing stopping me from running linux full time on my desktop. my second drives are even all ext4 now you cant tell i’m committed. now it acts mostly as a file server and occasional vr machine (vrchat runs ok (not quite as fast), you just need to know about proton-ge-rtsp, wivrn, and wayvr)
today’s tearout feels like you’re watching a play with heavy machinery on stage. in old tearout, you’re in a workshop, working with it right in your face
i don’t really like engaging with rate your music (frankly - at least from a distance - though i could be wrong, it seems rather insuffereble) as a site but damn is it a good learning resource / database if you want to learn more about certain genres or artists
“yoton” nugget - decent. would recommend for the $20 i think
