“yoton” nugget - decent. would recommend for the $20 i think
what i like
-
it’s super tiny. like an ipod shuffle with more controls
-
the clip is decent. it could be tighter but i can clip it to my clothes and not worry about it falling off unless i bump into something
-
it’s super light. meaning it just dangles from the cable of my earbuds, no risk of it dropping if it falls off.
issues
-
it doesn’t support opus. meaning you can’t get maximal storage efficiency. not an issue for me because my music library is in AAC so i can play it in the default macos music app, but important to note
-
the ui is slow. the software itself doesnt feel slow or laggy, but if you have a lot of albums to scroll through, it takes a while for it to advance through the whole list.
-
library weirdness. it will sometimes mix together multiple albums with the same first word, namely “the” for me. “The Black Parade”, “The Fear of Fear”, and “The Fat of the Land”, and “The Four Seasons” on mine, meaning it plays track 1 of one, then the other, then the other, followed by track 2 of one, then the other, etc. granted this could be an easy fix, i just don’t know. i haven’t looked into it. also, when i copy some new music to it, sometimes it won’t immediately index it, meaning i’ve had to factory reset it once or twice just for it to re-index.
